'Women in România are not a minority' Campaign 50/50 - Brașov

The event took place in physical format, in Brașov, on May 7, 2022 and was organised within the project „GLORIA - feminism and the strategic approach to gender equality”, carried out with the financial support of Active Citizens Fund România, a program funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the SEE 2014-2021.

The event was organized by the Centrul de Mediere și Securitate Comunitară Foundation (CMSC), in partnership with the Romanian Women's LOBBY Association (RoWL), Foreningen HEDDA, ​​Bulgarian Platform of European Women's Lobby, East-West Women's Network (NEWW), Magyar Női Érdekérvényesítő Szövetség (Hungarian Women's Lobby) and Asociația Femeile se Implică, with the support of County Library George Barițiu in Brașov.

The topics covered in this workshop and the proposals and recommendations collected from the participants will form the basis of future policy briefs that will be used as an advocacy tool to create new policies that come with concrete recommendations to reduce inequalities in women's representation in decision-making positions in Romanian politics.
